PROJECTS
2024
With the motto FLINTA*s TAKE UP SPACE, the 2024 project is about the takeover of public spaces by FLINTA* people. There is often no room for FLINTA*s in society. They are oppressed, denied rights, forbidden to speak. Public space is not a safe place for FLINTA*s. We take the space we are entitled to. Whether it's geographical space, media space or certain activities, certain industries - WE HAVE A RIGHT TO BE HERE. Public space belongs to us. Our bodies belong to us.
With the profits from the calendar sales, NAKED SOLIDARITY supports the women's center Paula Panke e.V. and Unterschlupf e.V.
2023
The theme of the calendar is relationships - romantic, friendly, familial. Stability and security can be present in any form of relationship. Equally, there can be abuse and mistreatment in any form of relationship. Regardless of sexuality, gender identity, ethnicity, age and social beliefs.
Many relationship models that have these loving characteristics were photographed for the 2024 calendar.
To also show the negative and horrific aspects that can occur in relationships, stories from survivors are shared in the calendar. A collaboration with @stories_ofher made this possible -- thank you for the trust!
The calendar for 2024 supports LARA e.V.
LARA e.V. is a counseling and crisis center for women, trans*, inter*, and non-binary people who have experienced any types of sexualized violence since puberty. They offer free, unbureaucratic, and confidential support regardless of when the sexual abuse occurred, who committed it, and where it happened. They have a feminist political stance and classify sexualized violence as part of predominant patriarchal structures. Therefore, LARA e.V. works on the principle of partiality and a trauma-sensitive attitude towards the clients. This means that the clients' experiences are taken seriously, and advice depends on their needs.
LARA e.V. provides psychosocial counseling for people affected and those close to them, support in crisis situations, a one-time free legal counseling service, and group services. In addition, there is the project "Mobile Beratung" – a mobile counseling service specifically aimed at refugees. LARA e.V. offers translation services and low-barrier consultation upon demand.
Their hotline is available from Mondays to Fridays between 9.00 am and 6.00 pm: 030 216 8888.
The donations that LARA e.V. receives from NAKED SOLIDARITY benefit those who are currently in especially distressing situations and need additional support. The money will be used, for example, to finance additional group offers, accompaniment to necessary appointments, and further legal advice.
The Paula Panke e.V. association has been supporting women in all life and crisis situations. They find counselling and help with legal, social and emotional conflicts at the two locations in Pankow and Weißensee. Paula Panke has been looking after women and their children in violent situations since 1994 and offers refuge in anonymous flats - also for deaf and TIN* people. (trans, inter, non-binary and agender). In the area of open group work, visitors experience empowerment and networking. The low-threshold cultural and educational programmes are aimed at anyone who is interested in equality issues. Paula Panke's work also includes anti-racism projects and support for queer people in the city. After all, gender equality also includes combating racist and homophobic discrimination.
Unterschlupf e.V. is a daytime meeting place, a small ‘shelter’ for women who are homeless. The idea was to create a kind of café, a place where women could have something like a ‘normal’ ‘ hospitality experience’. It became much more than that: the needs were more comprehensive and over time the organisation became what it is today. Women come to the meeting place to eat, shower or change their clothes. The clientele is exclusively female, including trans women, of course. Unterschlupf wants to create a space that offers everyone peace and security during the day, as women need a place to rest and recharge their batteries during the day. A place that gives women who are homeless the opportunity to feel safe. A place of retreat and relaxation.
The project is currently looking for new premises, as the rental contract for Wrangelstrasse 30 is only valid for a maximum of 6 months due to development plans. The project is financed and supported exclusively by a network of volunteers and private donations.

In 2023 the LGBTQIA+ and BIPoC communities were supported. Wearing pride-colored balaclavas, NAKED SOLIDARITY is fighting to change the system. The project fights against rigid societal norms, traditional gender roles, Western ideals of beauty, and the general belief of being superior.
The calendar was created in collaboration with LOOK AT YOU MIRRORS. LOOK AT YOU MIRRORS was founded with the basic idea of striking "a balance between healthy economic growth and the social responsibility that comes with it." The long-term partnership with ROOTS Berlin is the first step in this direction. To create visibility for marginalized groups and normalize open discourse on mental health, Laura Schowe of LOOK AT YOU MIRRORS photographs various individuals to lead the company's social media. In this context the collaboration with NAKED SOLIDARITY emerged.
All proceeds will go to ROOTS Berlin and LesMigraS.
ROOTS advocates for social and ethnic justice and creates opportunities to positively and sustainably improve the reality of affected individuals.
LesMigraS is a contact and support facility for trans* and cis women, trans* and cis men, all genderqueer, non-binary, trans* and inter* people who are lesbian, bisexual, gay, pansexual, asexual, queer and BIPoC, migrant, refugee or white.
Alongside the photographs of FLINTA* persons and queer cis men, a selection of terminologies is explained, written by Mascha Leskien together with people from the communities, in order to contribute a small part to the necessary educational work.
2021

The beginning and origin of NAKED SOLIDARITY was the idea of a 'nude calendar with meaning', which found its form as a photographic fundraising project.
The idea of the project is to normalize naked female read bodies and in this way end unwanted sexualization. It is about empowering FLINTA* and conveying a feminist worldview.
In addition to the photographs of FLINTA* persons, there was a labeled image of the clitoris, as well as a short explanatory text. In the sense of a search image, a polymer clay clitoris was placed on each calendar photo to draw attention to the relevance of knowledge about its anatomy and function for the sexual satisfaction of persons with vulvas. The nude calendar was released in 2021, but is not year-specific.
The project was able to donate over 5.500€ to the Desert Flower Foundation and Wildwasser e.V..
DFF has the goal to end female genital mutilation (FGM) all over the world. Since then, they have been providing education worldwide, offering direct support to survivors of FGM, and established several Desert Flower Centers where they offer reconstructive surgeries, gynecological, urological, and psychological treatment.
The work of Wildwasser e.V. is based on a feminist concept. The association fights political, structural oppression and sexualized violence as well as all forms of discrimination. The organization's goal is to change the way sexualized violence is dealt with in social discourse. Part of the association's approach is the knowledge that neutrality and independence from one's class, ethical attitudes, ethnicity, gender, age and personal history are not possible and that these factors must be reflected and taken into account.

WE CELEBRATED THE RELEASE OF THE 2024 CALENDAR ON NOVEMBER 29, 2023 AT MENSCH MEIER.

FLINTA*s TAKE UP BINUU
On December 21st, the feminist solidarity project NAKED SOLIDARITY took over the Bi Nuu in the Schlesisches Tor subway station! We celebrated the fourth edition of the calendar under the motto FLINTA*s TAKE UP SPACE. With a line-up, tattoo artists and a production team consisting of FLINTA*s, we created a night of FLINTA*s for everyone.
All profits from the event were donated to Unterschlupf eV and the women’s center Paula Panke eV.
